Biography
I'am Xolani Steven Masimula,I was born in 1992 on 25th July, I have grown up in a place called kameelrevier 'A' in Mpumalanga Province.I was raised by both of my parents and I have two brothers, one has already matriculated and another one still young. My parents name is Christinah Sanelani Mahlangu and Father's name Johannes Masimula, and started schooling in the year 2000 at Gijamphezeni Primary and Secondary at Sivumelene Senior School, and I matriculated in the year 2011 where I initially enrolled at Nkangala FET College in Electrical Engineering studies, then 2013 I have registered at Tshwane University of Technology in Fine Art Department.

Artist statement
My art work is hard to describe in words as it is a vibrant art color of life, as basically focuses on the population as a whole, and telling a story about each and everyday struggle of ordinary life.I present my work through different kinds of mediums by portraying challenges, and their results either it is politically,socially,economically and also traditionally issues through this vanity lifestyle which is being hard today. my work is a weapon which I use to inform the young, elders and globally. My work also takes a form that challenges accepted ideas of what art should look like.It appears deceptive random, but the balance composition intentionally.There is a strange beauty in these artworks,although they seem so hard to understand.
